2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, ID number (where required), and account security information
  • Identity / Verification (if enabled): A selfie/face scan may be captured only for verification, processed by a third-party verification provider (e.g., Verilink). Matchy does not store facial templates/biometric profiles. Any verification images are handled according to the provider’s controls and are not retained by Matchy beyond what is necessary to complete the verification transaction.
  • Property Information: Property details, photos, location data, pricing, and property descriptions
  • Transaction Information: Offers, negotiations, communications, and transaction documents
  • Professional Information: Business details, credentials, service categories, coverage areas, and rates
  • Communication Data: Messages, chat history, and communications with other users
  • Payment Information: Billing details, subscription information, and transaction records

2.2 Information Automatically Collected

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, time spent, and interaction patterns
  • Location Data: GPS coordinates, IP address, and location-based services data
  • Technical Data: Log files, error reports, performance data, and crash reports

The Platform may display sponsored content or promotional material. We may collect impression, interaction, and click metrics relating to such content for analytics, reporting, and service improvement purposes. Clicking sponsored content may redirect you to third-party websites or services that are not controlled by Matchy and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage users to review those policies before providing any personal information.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Information from social media platforms if you connect your account
  • Identity/verification results returned by verification providers (e.g., verification status, reference IDs, and metadata), where you choose to complete verification
  • Credit and background check information (with your consent)

2.4 Biometric / Facial Verification (If Used)

If identity verification is enabled, Matchy may ask you to capture a selfie or short face scan for liveness/identity checks. This data is processed by our verification service provider (for example, Verilink) to return a verification result (e.g., match / no-match, liveness pass / fail).

  • Matchy does not store biometric templates (such as faceprints or facial embeddings).
  • Matchy stores only the verification outcome (e.g., verified / not verified), timestamps, and reference IDs required for audit/security purposes.
  • Any images captured for verification are handled in accordance with the verification provider’s privacy and retention controls and are not retained by Matchy beyond what is required to complete the verification transaction.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision: To provide, maintain, and improve our platform and services
  • User Authentication: To verify your identity and maintain account security
  • Property Matching: To match buyers with relevant properties based on preferences and behavior
  • Communication: To facilitate messaging between users and transaction coordination
